Prerequisites & Vetting Process

Ogury works hard to provide a safe and trusted adtech ecosystem. To connect our demand, we ask you to follow the guidelines below.

Unauthorised categories

We will not monetise your domains or apps if:

  • They are part of our IAB category blacklist (can differ by country).

  • They have prohibited content - please note that this is a contractual term available in our T&C’s.

Unauthorised apps

If your app belongs to one of the following categories, we won’t be able to monetise it.

  • Illegal streaming

  • Flashlight apps

  • App not on the store

  • Apps for kids

  • Gaming with realistic violence (ex: First Person Shooter games)

  • Gaming apps with 17+ content rating

  • VPN apps

Ad quality criteria

1- Mobile web

Your domain will be rejected if it doesn’t respect the following guidelines:

  • Ad refresh must be limited to intervals of 30 seconds or more and must occur only while in-view

  • Maximum two outstream video ads must be allowed to play at the same time, on a given page (in-view)

  • Number of ads on the page must be below 5 ads per page (in-view) or less if they outweigh the content of the page.

  • Domains with expanded ads over content are not allowed without a clear exit path.

  • Domains with pop-ups, redirects and/or adult content are not accepted.

  • Domains must be active - meaning new content must be posted on the website at least 4 months ago.

  • Inventory coming from synthetic or purchased traffic (e.g. incentivised webviews, rewarded webviews, clickbait style advertising, etc..) is prohibited.

2- In-app

Your app will be rejected if it doesn’t respect the following guidelines:

  • The featured reviews on the app store or google play should overall be positive, no comments of ad spam, payouts, app being faulty, etc.

  • Updates should be frequent: at least on a monthly basis.

  • The developer information needs to be legitimate (app developer, website, contact email should all match up):

    • Contact email: A professional email no free service email

    • Developer website: "about us", "contact us", app-ads.txt implemented, the developer can be traced and is legitimate (i.e. can be googled, has employees on sites like LinkedIn, everything needs to check out)

IVT & Brand Safety rules

In order to comply with all our clients’ requirements, we have strict IVT and Brand Safety rules applied. These rules can differ depending on the country.

Overall, we aim for less than 1% IVT rate and we remove from our delivery all assets that are flagged as High and High & Moderate risk by our partners (IAS and Double Verify).

Technical Setup

Mobile web inventory

We don’t accept the following technical set up:

  • No Safe Frames

  • No AMP Traffic

  • We support only the following browsers

  • CMP TCFv2.2 for EEA countries, UK and Switzerland should be used

  • All CMP should include Ogury’s vendor ID 31

  • Only one of Ogury format per page load (unless it’s the in-article format)

In-app Inventory

  • You need to use our latest SDK and follow our regular releases for updates

  • Set up your reporting API following our guideline

  • Update our SKAN ID list to monetise your iOS inventory
