Create Your Custom Persona

Our Persona Builder allows you to create your dedicated pool of audience to offer the most unique and accurate targeting for each of your campaign.

Start by clicking on "+ Add my persona":

How to use our Persona Builder?

1- Translate your brief or build your persona from scratch

1. Translate your brief: Copy/paste your campaign brief or manually enter the audience you wish to target in the "audience details" section. You can also leave this section blank to build your persona from scratch.

2. Select the country associated to the audience you would like to target using the dropdown menu.

3. Validate your request by clicking on "Continue":

You will be directed to the Persona Builder dashboard where you can view the suggested targeting parameters based on the details entered into the brief translator.

Understand each section of the Persona Builder and how to use the available features.

1- Summary

Accessible on the left-hand side of the page, you will see the following details:

• Brief: These are the details you entered into the translator, including the country and targeted audience. You can use the "edit" button to make changes if needed.

• Behavior Personas: Based on the information from the translator, you will see the Ogury Personas recommended to create your Custom Persona. By default, the tool will suggest multiple Personas based on the audience details you provided. Please note that each Persona is independent meaning that we use the "or" function by default.

  • In the example above, you can read the personas as targeting: Eco-conscious consumers OR Externe sports enthusiast OR Nutrition / Healthy food lover.

2- Socio Demo

In this section you can apply age or gender targeting parameters for your audience. By default, the gender is set to "All" and the age is set to 18+.

3- Behavior Personas

This is the main section of the Persona Builder where you are able to see the Personas recommended for you based on your audience details. You can also make changes to the recommended Personas by deselecting them from your list.

If you did not enter audience details into the brief translator, you will need to select your first Persona.

• In the scroll box, you will see our full list of Ogury Personas, with the name & description and Ogury's total reach for each. The list is alphabetically sorted by default. You can alternatively sort the list by reach.

• You can use the Search bar to find a specific Persona by name or to explore the Personas that use specific text in their naming conventions such as "Luxury".

• As you make your selections, you will see the Personas you have selected populate the Summary panel on the left-hand side of the page. Based on your inputs in the tool, each persona will be combined using an OR, AND, or NOT statement.

If you have multiple Personas that you want to reach for your campaign, you can select numerous personas from this list. When selecting multiple personas, each persona is independent of the others for targeting (using an "OR" statement), meaning that the target audience is defined as Persona #1, OR Persona #2, OR Persona #3, etc..

3A - Combining Personas with "And" and "Not": You can build on the Persona(s) previously selected by using "And" or "Not" statements.

• "And" statement: Combining Personas with an "And" statement will ensure that your initial Persona(s) selected using "OR", intersect with the Personas selected in this section.

• "Not" statement: In this section, you can remove the Personas that you do not want to target.

4- Reach

In the Reach section on the right-hand side of the page, you will see the estimated total reach based on the suggested Personas. We advise you to follow this number closely to make sure you have enough reach for your campaign. Selecting an audience that is too narrow or specific could impact the delivery of your campaign.

5- Age & Gender

This section provides more information on the age and gender of the personas you selected and any Socio-Demo parameters that you applied in the section mentioned above.

Save your Custom Persona

Lastly, you can save your Persona by clicking "Save my persona" at the top right of the Persona Builder.

You will need to provide a name for your Custom Persona and link it to an account and a brand.

Provide the following details in pop-up box: Persona name, Account, and Brand.

• Persona name: create a name for this persona.

• Select your Account from the dropdown menu.

• Select your Brand from the dropdown menu.

• Click "Save my persona".
